Jenn Jolicoeur

Director, Program Director & Tumbling Coach
Jenn is the heart behind Phoenix Cheer Athletics! With over 30 years of coaching experience in gymnastics and a deep-rooted passion for the cheer community, Jenn brings unmatched energy, dedication and vision to the gym. Jenn oversees PCA’s operations, from athlete development and team placements to event planning, program design and coach mentorship.

Coach Liaison & Support & Coach - Revivals
Jessica brings years of gymnastics and cheerleading experience to Phoenix Cheer, having dedicated 7 years to gymnastics and 5 years to cheerleading (on Scorpions, Manitoba Storm & Vision Cheer) From coaching the My Space program to managing our social media and content, she's been an integral part of our team since day one.

Coach - Smoke
Amanda, a fresh addition to Phoenix Cheer as a coach, has discovered a newfound passion for the sport. With four children of her own, she revels in the joy of being surrounded by enthusiastic young athletes, eager to share her love for cheerleading with them.

Coach - Ember & Smoke
Emma has 4 years of competitive cheerleading experience. She is excited to be back in the cheer gym while getting involved with her community of Ste. Anne!

Coach - Adult All Star
Ashley brings a wealth of experience and passion to the team. A dedicated gymnast for most of her life, she competed at both the provincial and national levels. After retiring from gymnastics, Ashley transitioned into cheerleading. Her cheer career includes multiple appearances at The Cheerleading Worlds and the incredible honour of representing Team Canada on the international stage.

Coach - Nova
With 7 years of experience in competitive cheer and pom, Coach Santana brings passion, precision and spirit to every practice. A former cheerleader turned coach, she previously led teams to success before stepping away from the mat. Now after a 12-year break, she’s back and more fired up than ever. Driven by the motto “Eat, Sleep, Cheer, Repeat” Coach Santana is here to inspire the next generation of athletes with energy, technique and heart.

Christine brings over 5 years of cheer experience, having transitioned to coaching our space program passionately for over a year. With a background as a swimming instructor for 12 years and raising three kids, her dedication to Phoenix cheer shines through her diverse expertise and commitment.
Kamille Senecal-Paquin

Coach - Odyssey
Kami has been a part of cheerleading since she was 13 years old. She's been an athlete, coach(L7), cheer mom to two worlds athletes and Cheer judge. As an Athlete she's won a worlds bid and as a coach she's had the honour of bringing her youth L1 team to youth summit and becoming a Finalist representing Canada. Kami is a current member of the Cheer Manitoba board of directors and cannot wait to bring her knowledge and love of cheerleading to Odyssey!
Alyssa Maxymowich

Coach - Sparks & Odyssey
Alyssa brings over 15 years of cheerleading experience and 8 years of coaching experience to Phoenix Cheer Athletics. Throughout her coaching journey, she has coached with Scorpions, Cheer Integrity Athletics, and Phoenix, sharing her passion for the sport while helping athletes build confidence, skills, and teamwork. Outside of the gym, Alyssa works in childcare as a Certified Early Childhood Educator. She loves working with children and is passionate about watching them grow, develop new skills, and achieve their goals—both in and out of cheer. Alyssa is excited to continue inspiring athletes and helping them reach their full potential this season!
Brittany Kelly

Coach - Ignite & Cinder
Brittney has been part of our Phoenix family for the past three years as a proud cheer mom to her two athletes. This past season, she joined our adult teams and quickly fell in love with the sport. Along with coaching, you'll also find her at the front desk, always ready to support our athletes and families with a smile. Coach Brittney is excited to help young athletes build confidence, learn new skills, celebrate every milestone, and most importantly—have fun! She believes cheer is all about teamwork, hard work, and creating lifelong memories.
Mckenna Chuhai

Coach - Ember & Revivals
McKenna is 16 years old and entering Grade 11. She began cheerleading at the age of 8 and has achieved many accomplishments throughout her career. She has competed at prestigious events across Canada and the United States, including Nationals, Best of the West, Warman, Ottawa, The Summit in Orlando, JAMZ in Las Vegas, and the NCA All-Star National Championship in Houston, Texas, where her team became NCA National Champions. She has also earned a full-paid bid to The Summit. McKenna continues to cheer competitively and is excited to return to PCA as a coach after previously serving as a junior coach as well as an athlete. Her awards include Junior Coach of the Year (2024), Most Improved Athlete(2x), Most Dedicated Athlete, and the Team Motivational Award.
Our coaches have experience in dance, cheerleading and gymnastics.
Our coaches are USASF/IASF credentialed and all of our coaches have training in first aid/CPR, concussion training and Respect in Sport. Coaches over 18 years of age have also had criminal record and child abuse registry checks. All staff has training in NCCP Make Ethical Decisions, NCCP Rule of 2, NCCP Bystander Empowerment, NCCP Emergency Action Plan, NCCP Gender Based Violence, NCCP Modeling Healthy Relationships, NCCP Understanding Teen Dating Violence.
